Trail of the Lakes MUD Board President Kim Pendleton and Assistant Secretary James Stubblefield attended the Budget Town Hall at the George H.W. Bush Community Center. The town hall offers residents an opportunity to engage directly in key financial priorities for the upcoming 2027 fiscal year. As residents of the district, directors wanted to make sure commissioner Ramsey was aware of the unique needs of our community.

Discussing County Budget Priorities

Precinct 3 Commissioner Tom Ramsey and Executive Director of Budget and Management Daniel Ramos were present to gather feedback and discuss community investments. Discussions covered ongoing county initiatives and upcoming fiscal planning, including statutory and non-statutory spending. Topics also included concerns in unincorporated areas and law enforcement and safety. Feedback gathered from attendees will directly inform decisions as county officials work to draft a balanced and effective budget.

Sidewalk, Trails, and Road Projects

Your MUD board members brought local needs into the conversation, discussing the district’s sidewalk issues, trail improvements, and ongoing road projects with county officials. These discussions focused on improvements to our area as the county plans for the upcoming fiscal year. By proactively engaging with our elected officials and sharing our concerns directly, we hope to ensure our voices are heard, our concerns are addressed, and needs of our community are given meaningful consideration.
